I wrote the last verse of that song that I have been working on the words for for the past few weeks. Now I have written all the words for that song. It always feels great to have a new song written. I wrote it while I was also working on upgrading a bunch of gear and practicing the parts for the first few sessions. I did that by taking some time to focus on that verse, and find the direction to take it in, then after I had that figured out, working on ideas in my head or by doing things like humming or singing them to myself as I did other things. I did a lot of that while I was doing things like washing dishes, taking a shower, and so on. It took a little more time than it would have if I had given it more direct focus, but at a certain point, the words that it needed came to me. My next steps are to get the gear situation squared away—I'm a little tired of mentioning that by now, but it is what it is and it is a process and it will be done soon—and of course, getting the parts all practiced and ready for the first few sessions.
