Jennifer Crystal Chien and Elliot Racine present: Purpose of eventTo introduce an artistic philosophy called Reimagining to those interested in the arts, and in particular filmmakers and musicians. This event will feature two artists who use this philosophy in their work, Elliot Racine and Jennifer Crystal Chien. Elliot will play excerpts of songs from his new album Curiosity and discuss his process and ideas while making these songs. Jennifer will show excerpts from her feature documentary, Waiting for Bekir, and how she came to make this film. They will both reflect on how their work also reflects their understanding of the world and its social dynamics. There will be snacks!
